• In episode 177, Nightshroud uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. It was set face-down from his Deck via "Darkness". When Jaden uses "Elemental HERO Sparkman" to attack "Darkness Eye", Nightshroud activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate this card and destroy "Sparkman". Jaden then activates "Relationship" to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Necroshade". On Jaden's End Phase, "Darkness" resets and rearranges Nightshroud's Trap Cards. After "Darkness Destroyer" is Normal Summoned, Nightshroud activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate "Darkness 2", this card, and "Darkness 3" and increase the ATK of "Darkness Destroyer" by 3000 until the End Phase. On Nightshroud's End Phase, "Darkness" resets and rearranges his Trap Cards. After Jaden Normal Summons "Elemental HERO Neos", Nightshroud activates the effect of "Darkness Eye" to check his set cards, but Jaden activates "Effect Shut" to negate the effect of "Darkness Eye" and destroy it. "Neos" attacks "Darkness Destroyer. Nightshroud activates a random set card, which turns out to be this card. Since this card wasn't activated through the effect of "Infinity", its effect doesn't activate. "Neos" then destroys "Darkness Destroyer". In the next episode, Nightshroud activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate this card and "Darkness 2" and destroy "Neos Wiseman", but it doesn't work as "Neos Wiseman" can't be destroyed by card effects. On Nightshroud's End Phase, "Darkness" resets and rearranges his Trap Cards. Later Nightshroud activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate "Darkness 3", this card, and "Darkness 2" and inflict 3000 damage to Jaden. On Nightshroud's End Phase, "Darkness" resets and rearranges his Trap Cards. On the next turn, Nightshroud activates the effect of "Darkness Bramble" to check his set cards. Nightshroud then activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate "Darkness 3" and this card to inflict 2000 damage to Jaden, but Jaden activates "Quick Summon" to Special Summon "Chrysalis Pantail" and activates "Cocoon Veil" to make the damage he would take 0 and Special Summon "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther". After Nightshroud Special Summons "Darkness Neosphere" and explains the first and second effects of "Darkness Neosphere" to Jaden, Nightshroud activates the second effect of "Darkness Neosphere" to set and rearrange his Trap Cards. Jaden then activates the effect of "Dark Panther" to grant itself the name, stats, and effects of "Darkness Neosphere". Jaden then activates the second effect of "Darkness Neosphere" to reset and rearrange Nightshroud's Trap Cards. He then activates the third effect of "Darkness Neosphere" to set "Darkness" face-down. Jaden warns Nightshroud that if he reactivates "Darkness", then all of his set Traps will be destroyed, which will prevent Nightshroud from using his "Zero" and "Infinity" combo" any further. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
