Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

  • In episode 101, Kite Tenjo plays three copies of this card in his duel against Sylvio Sawatari and Gong Strong. On the third turn, he Normal Summons the first copy, then Special Summons the second copy from his hand through this card's effect. Kite then activates "Cipher Interference"; since he controls two "Cipher" monsters of the same name, he is allowed to double the ATK of one of them during the Damage Step only. The first copy, with its ATK doubled to 2800, attacks and destroys Sylvio's "Abyss Actor - Wild Hope". The second copy attacks Sylvio directly. On Sylvio's next turn, his "Abyss Actor - Superstar" with 4400 ATK attacks a copy, but Kite activates his face-down "Cipher Shield"; since he controls two "Cipher" monsters of the same name, neither can be destroyed by battle. Kite then applies "Cipher Interference's" ATK-doubling effect on the attacked copy to minimize damage. On Gong's next turn, his "Superheavy Samurai Ninja Sarutobi", attacking while in Defense Position and applying its 3100 DEF for damage calculation, attacks a copy; Kite again applies "Cipher Interference's" ATK-doubling effect on the attacked copy to minimize damage. On Kite's next turn, he draws the third copy of this card. He subsequently Normal Summons it and activates this card's other effect, Tributing the copy he just summoned, in order to increase the other two copies' Levels to 8 each. He then overlays the two copies to Xyz Summon of "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".
