- Yami Marik Summoned Makyura the Destructor and equipped it with Black Pendant. He declares an attack on Mai's The Unfriendly Amazon, but Mai activated Amazoness Archers, decreasing Makyura's ATK back to 1600. It gets destroyed, but Black Pendant does 500 damage to Mai and Makyura's effect allows Marik to activate a Trap Card from his hand. He chooses Rope of Life, Special Summoning Makyura to the field and increasing its ATK to 2400. This in turn made it powerful enough to destroy The Unfriendly Amazon.
- This card can be seen in Yami Marik's hand during his Duel against Yami Bakura. It is discarded from his hand due to "Multiple Destuction".
