• In episode 113, the Big Five use this card during their Tag Duel against Yami Yugi and Joey Wheeler. Leichter summons this card via "A Deal with Dark Ruler" after Five-Headed Dragon was destroyed. This in turn made this card the Big Five's new Deck Master. Yugi took this moment to activate "Magical Hats" and hide his Deck Master ("Dark Magician") within one of four Hats. He then used his Deck Master's ability to duplicate the effect of "Magical Hats" and hide Joey's Deck Master ("Flame Swordsman") within one of four hats. Leichter then used this monster to attack all of the hats on Yugi's side of the field (this card can attack all monsters on the opponent's side of the field once each). This destroys the three empty hats, but before Yugi's Deck Master could be destroyed by this card's fourth attack, Joey ordered his Deck Master, "Flame Swordsman" to intercept the attack. Joey then activates "Silver Dollar" to prevent "Flame Swordsman" from being destroyed in battle and reduce the Battle Damage he would take to 0. At the End Phase, this card lost 500 ATK due to its last effect. Joey then activates "Knight's Title" to Tribute "Dark Magician" and summon "Dark Magician Knight" in its place. He then activates the Deck Master ability of "Flame Swordsman", decreasing its ATK by 700 and increasing the ATK of "Dark Magician Knight" by the same amount. Yugi then uses "Dark Magician Knight" to attack and destroy this card. Since this card was the Big Five's Deck Master, they lost the duel by default.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers Joey using the Deck Master ability of "Flame Swordsman" to transfer 1000 of its ATK to this card which is why Joey was able to use "Silver Dollar" on "Flame Swordsman" when it intercepted the attack this card made on "Dark Magician".
  • In episode 222, this card is seen in Yugi Muto's thoughts when he notes that he previously let Yami Yugi do things for him and was always behind him, but now is the first time that he must prove that he does not need Yami Yugi's help and show how much he has grown since he first put the Millennium Puzzle.

  • In episode 95, This card can be seen as an spirit.
