The August 2004 Forbidden and Limited Lists were Forbidden and Limited lists in the TCG, going into effect on August 25, 2004.[1]

This list updated the previous April 2004 list, but did not institute any actual changes until October 1, when 13 cards were changed from Limited to Forbidden. This was the first Forbidden and Limited list in the TCG to list cards as Forbidden. This list was followed by the October 2004 Forbidden and Limited List.
