Like the original "Blackwing" monsters, the "Assault Blackwing" monsters resemble either humanoid birds or humanoids in bird-like outfits. Additionally, the "Assault Blackwing" monsters have a half-mechanical appearance to them.
Etymology[]
The "Assault Blackwing" monsters are named after legendary Japanese weapons and given a title relating to rain.

Playing style[]
"Assault Blackwing" monsters tend to treat themselves as Tuner monsters if they are Special Summoned by using at least 1 "Blackwing" monster (either as a Tribute for the Main Deck members, or as a Synchro Material for the Synchro members), allowing their user to quickly gather up the total Levels needed to Summon powerful Synchro Monsters.
