The April 2004 Forbidden and Limited Lists were Forbidden and Limited lists in the TCG, going into effect on April 19, 2004.[1]

This list was an update to the previous February 2004 list for the release of Invasion of Chaos, adding four cards from that Booster Pack and changing one card from Limited to Semi-Limited. It was updated for the release of Ancient Sanctuary on July 22, 2004,[2] though the only change was the removal of the "Forbidden Cards for Asia" note. This list was followed by the August 2004 Forbidden and Limited List.

From May 1, 2004 onward, players in the TCG could use English cards from any territory, not just the territory designated for that card, meaning that any English card can be used around the world. However, Asian-English was still prohibited for any territory other than Asia.
