Anti-support

Anti-support is an unofficial term for an interaction in which a card specifically affects cards with a particular property in some way harmful to the player who possesses the supported card, in contrast with support. For example, "System Down" banishes all Machine-Type monsters from the opponent's field and Graveyard, thus it anti-supports Machine-Type monsters.

As with support, anti-support can be applied to archetypes, Attributes, Types, or monsters with a certain Level, Rank, ATK, or DEF, among other groups of cards. Exclusions, such as the Xyz Materials for "Number F0: Utopic Future" being required to not be "Number" monsters, are not considered anti-support. However, Unclassified Effects that require that there be only 1 monster with a particular property on the field or on a side of the field, such as with "Earthbound Immortal" and "Kaiju" monsters, are considered anti-support.

• "Ally of Justice" monsters provide anti-support for LIGHT monsters.
• "Last Day of Witch" provides anti-support for Spellcaster-Type monsters.
• "Ritual Sealing" provides anti-support for Ritual Monsters.
• "White Hole" provides anti-support for "Dark Hole".
