Some major benefits include "Bad Reaction to Simochi" being a Trap that can be used during your opponent's Draw Phase and potentially causing a FTK or OTK. See also: Bad Reaction to Simochi OTK
The number of different cards which easily increase your opponent's Life Points (intending to be a "penalty" for using these cards) makes this Deck easily adaptable to the quick game seen recently along with presenting effects that are quite beneficial.
As “Darklord Nurse Reficule” is a “Darklord” monster, you can tech in the archetype support cards including “Banishment of the Darklords”, “Darklord Contact”, “Darklord Ixchel”, and “Darklord Ukoback” to add more consistency and search power. Because “Darklord Marie” also receives support, it’s possible to tech in a “Fire Princess” strategy as well.
With the release of “Condemned Witch”, the Deck gets even more consistency as she can tribute herself to bring out “Darklord Nurse Reficule” straight from the deck while also being able to search “Forbidden” quick-play spell cards.
“Tri-and-Guess” is the deck’s second form of massive burn damage after “Gift Card”, though it requires having your extra deck built around using the card, but as this deck doesn’t rely on the extra deck, it won’t be an issue. It is best advised that you fill your extra deck with Fusion Monsters to guarantee that your opponent receives the life point gain (as your opponent will likely have less Fusion monsters than you) that you can then reverse into damage.
As said previously, the extra deck isn’t really needed for the main strategy overall, so “Pot of Extravagance” can be used for draw power, because losing 3-6 extra deck monsters will not have a negative effect on the deck most of the time.
While not suffering from other floodgates that other deck hurt from, any cards that interrupt searching and drawing can still hinder you. Also your chain of effects cannot be interrupted or else it will most likely cost you the game. A well timed "Mystical Space Typhoon", “Twin Twisters”, or “Heavy Storm Duster” against a "Bad Reaction to Simochi" can cause your opponent to gain the life you were trying to burn them for, as well as a well timed "Forbidden Chalice", "Breakthrough Skill", or “Infinite Impermanence” against "Darklord Nurse Reficule" can also cause this to happen. "Red Reboot" is a particularly deadly card, since it prevents you from activating Trap cards for the rest of the turn, thus giving your opponent enough time for a potential OTK.
