The 2022 South American Championship, officially WCQ South America 2022 was a continental World Championship Qualifier. Players who had been successful in other South American tournaments (OTS Championships, Regionals and YCSs) got to compete to become the South American Champion. It took place in Santiago, Chile from 24 - 26 June 2022.
Normally, the winner would have qualified for the World Championship. However, no such tournament took place in 2022 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The main event was won by Hernan Bravo, playing a "Branded Eldlich" deck. In the finals, he defeated Diego Venegas, using an "Adventurer P.U.N.K." deck. The Top 4 players were Gabriel Villanueva and Matias Lopez Acevedo.
